We live out what we have built into our minds….

EFT is one of my favourite modalities and one often mistaken as a reference to banking 🙂

In the wellness world, EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique (and is also nicknamed tapping)  discovered by engineer Gary Craig, in the 90’s.  It’s based on the theory that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.

An EFT session usually takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes and involves the use of fingertips to tap on the end points of energy meridians that are situated throughout the body.  It’s commonly referred to as a form of psychological acupressure and in a lot of ways, it’s similar to acupuncture minus the use of needles, which makes the treatment both painless and non-invasive.

Prior to seeing me, many of my clients feel stuck in an ongoing cycle of emotional trauma, physical pain, addiction, depression, stress and anxiety (to name just a few) and have spent long and painful periods searching for an answer and successful treatment for their health concerns. Most of which are feeling fed up with the lack of results achieved from doctors and traditional medical-based modalities.

I utilise EFT in almost all of my sessions and have personally witnessed time and time again the magic of this amazing modality.  EFT  has provided many of my clients with relief and over time I’ve seen EFT successfully treat a range of issues in a much shorter time frame than ever expected.

EFT can help with the following:

  • Trauma
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Stress & anxiety
  • Depression
  • Shame
  • Guilt
  • Fears
  • Phobias
  • Addiction
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Negative thought patterns and behaviours
  • Weight concerns and unwanted eating behaviours

EFT literally clears your concern from your body and mind, no matter how long you have had it for.

The added bonus to this modality is that you can perform EFT on yourself making it a valuable  self-help tool and incredibly empowering.  I recommend the first couple of sessions with an experienced practitioner so you can ensure you have the technique and process correct and can experience the benefits before trying it on your own.
