When I tell people that I’m a CTC Master Therapist, nine times out of ten the very first question I get asked is ‘What on earth is that?’
Some people might find it a bit off-putting if the majority of people had never even heard of what they do (!) but I love it – it means they’ve got no pre-conceived ideas, and it gives me a chance to talk about the very thing that I’m most passionate about (seriously, if you’re in a hurry, do NOT ask me that question! 😉
I have a standard answer to this question: “CTC stands for ‘Combined Therapy Cocktail, and is a holistic therapy that combines a whole bunch of different modalities like NLP, Reiki, EFT, hypnosis and more. It can give you mega-shifts and transformations in a short amount of time, and is one of the most potent forms of energy and neurological work on the planet.”
While this is a textbook answer (tick!), people sometimes still look at me puzzled by what it actually means. So I’ve found that the best way to truly explain CTC is to talk about the incredible transformations I’ve experienced myself – and seen take place in others – from this potent healing practice. So today, I want to share with you 7 ways that this beautiful modality has changed my life…
I am so. much. calmer
As a typical type A personality, I have natural tendencies to be addicted to busyness and regular life meltdowns, which are now a thing of the past.
Disordered eating gone
My long-standing shonky relationship with food has disappeared. I no longer have mental battles over late night 7/11 missions and stockpile food like there is a world shortage.
Better moods
Just ask my BF! Seriously though, I am feeling a much more balanced.
Sense of direction is back
I no longer feel like I just exist. I am crystal clear about what it is I’m trying to accomplish. And YAY, as it’s led me here.
Fearless
My fears have gone from all consuming to almost non-existent. So much so, I have stepped outside my comfort zone more in the past 12 months than I have in the past 10 years.
Motivated
Bouncing out of bed comes easily. I enter each day with energy and enthusiasm and find it easy to get through long days and yet still fit in a yoga class and weeknight dinner date.
I am at peace
No more feeling like I’m at war with myself. I feel a great sense of peace that everything that is happening around me is exactly as it’s meant to be.
