As a healing practitioner, there’s one particular problem that clients show up with a LOT, and that I keep noticing popping up on social media and in conversations all over the place… Lack of motivation.
It seems like at the moment, there are a lot of souls out there struggling to connect in with their purpose and passion. Instead, they’ve found themselves feeling stuck, trapped, and small… not a nice way to be living.
I know that awful lacklustre feeling myself, having struggled with it many times over the years. Luckily, I’ve also developed strategies and techniques that have enabled me to reconnect with my inner spark and get myself back on track. So today, I wanted to share with you my top 5 tools and tips that’ll help you climb out of that deep dark hole when you’ve lost your mojo and have got no motivation.
Vision Board
Find yourself an hour and get creative making your ideal life by sourcing images, words, affirmations, whatever speaks to you. Put your board somewhere where you can see it daily and visualise all the things you desire. Being reminded as to where your life currently is, and what it can be, is a great motivator. One important tip, when looking at your board; envision all your desires as if you already have them. It’s only June and I have ticked off EVERYTHING. Pretty spesh!
Rest
Sometimes we find ourselves unmotivated because we are too busy. Our ‘to do’ lists are huge and our minds are full of chatter. We crash and burn and then find it hard to get going again. How about taking some recharge time? Whether it’s getting more sleep, scheduling a daily meditation or just finding 5 minutes of stillness. Sometimes we need to actually slow down and stop for a moment to feel recharged.
Reiki
Reiki is a game changer when it comes to getting back on track. Reiki is an energy recharge that will provide you with the boost you need.
Re-evaluate
Take the time to look at your goal and tasks and do a check in. What’s going on for you? Is there a valid reason not to be motivated to do something? Sometimes we need to revaluate what it is we actually want and make changes.
Crystals
Crystals have great practical uses for every day life and when it comes to motivation and energy, Aventurine and Calcite are what you need.
Keep these crystals close to you during the day, like on your desk at work, for a motivation, creativity and energy boost.
